Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe may collect payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Chrome Extension Data

If you use our Chrome browser extension, we additionally collect:

  • Listing title, description, and tags extracted from the Etsy page you are viewing
  • The URL of the Etsy listing being scanned

This data is sent to our servers only when you click "Scan for Compliance." The extension does not collect data in the background or on pages other than Etsy listings. The extension stores your API token locally in your browser's extension storage - it is never shared with third parties.

Technical Data

We use Microsoft Application Insights to monitor application performance and diagnose issues. This may collect:

  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Error logs and performance metrics
  • IP address (anonymized)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our compliance scanning service
  • Analyze your listings for potential policy violations
  • Generate appeal letters (Pro and Business users)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related emails (welcome emails, subscription confirmations)
  • Improve our service and develop new features
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security

4. AI Processing

We use AI technology (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze your listing content for potential policy violations. Your listing data is sent to this third-party AI service for processing. The AI provider processes data in accordance with their privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not use your listing data to train AI models.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Scan results and appeal letters are retained for your reference. API tokens expire after 90 days and can be revoked at any time from your account settings. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
